You get Leela & Lavender, one of the fastest growing and most customer-oriented women's fashion retailers in the Midwest! Leela & Lavender is the classic American success story. The owners, Jill and Laura, found themselves at a crossroads when their 150-store retail employer was closing its doors. The two decided to combine their superpowers and follow their hearts to create Leela & Lavender. Focusing on trend variety, price variety, and fit variety, Leela & Lavender also provides top notch personal styling services and nurtures a culture of giving back.
The Challenge - After opening its first doors, Leela & Lavender quickly expanded to 5 retail locations and built an amazing organic social media following, but they needed to grow their e-commerce sales. They initially hired a local digital marketing agency that was able to achieve good results. However, their lofty goals combined with the fast-moving trend of consumers shifting online meant they needed to go from good to great… and do it fast!
The NETT Solution - It was clear that Leela & Lavender needed a custom-tailored campaign designed to keep their marketing looking on point, from head to toe. This included setting up automated feeds from Shopify to their Google, Facebook & Instagram shopping catalogs in order to run Shopping and Dynamic ads. We also "accessorized" their campaign with standard search and static social media ads based on segmented audiences, geography, and goals. Most importantly, we knew communication would be a critical thread in stitching things together due to the seasonality of fashion and the fast-paced nature of fashion calendars.
After giving the campaigns a makeover, we were able to decrease Leela & Lavender’s CPA by 41.26% and increase the ROAS by 2.3x compared to the benchmarks from the previous agency. On top of that, our quarter over quarter statistics continue to improve as shown below. Our goal is to always continue to optimize campaigns to ensure Leela & Lavender is the best dressed retailer in the eyes of the consumer.
